Q: How long do these InterACTIVE CHURCH Services last?

A: The Wednesday Testimony Meeting teleconferences last about one hour.

Q: Do I need a computer to participate in the InterACTIVE CHURCH Service?

A: No, you can participate simply by calling in on your phone. Having the Order of Service page up on your internet browser during the service and discussion will enhance the experience, but it is not required. So, you may share the conference call phone number and access code with friends and family who do not have access to the internet.

Q: Do I need special telephone equipment or conferencing features on my phone to participate?

A: No, you may use any phone. No conferencing features or any other special features are required. The following list of items ARE helpful, however:

  • If your phone has a "mute" button it is helpful to keep your phone on "mute" until you wish to speak or sing hymns as this helps to reduce background noise.
  • Headsets - if you are calling in using a cell phone, cordless phone, or using "SkypeOut™" from your computer, a headset will possibly make your experience more enjoyable.
  • Speaker Phones - if you can put your phone on "speaker" mode, it will keep you from having to hold the receiver to your ear, and, if there are more than one of you in the same location, you will all be able to hear.

Q: Do I have to be a Christian Science church member to participate?

A: No, ANYONE is invited to attend InterACTIVE CHURCH!

Q: How many people can attend each InterACTIVE CHURCH Service?

A: We can have up to 50 participants at each service.

Q: Calling the Conference phone number is a long distance call. How can I access the InterACTIVE CHURCH Service at a reasonable rate?

A: Click here for a number of solutions providing inexpensive long distance calling.

Q: How can my own Branch Church set up a similar conference call system so that we might enable people unable to attend our services in person to attend by calling in to hear our church services?

A: Its relatively easy, and we'll be happy to assist you! eMail us for details.

Q: Does CSDirectory.com's InterACTIVE CHURCH Service have an actual location where one may attend the service?

A: No, this is a completely electronic church services. No Building and Grounds Committee here!

Q: Are there Christian Science congregations using teleconferencing to allow congregants to call in to attend their local church services?

A: Click here for a directory of teleconference Christian Science church services and Sunday Schools.

Q: Why is there no Sunday InterACTIVE CHURCH service any longer?

A: Since the Bible Lesson read at Sunday Christian Science church services is copyrighted by the Christian Science Publishing Society, and these teleconferences are considered a form of broadcasting, we had to stop our Sunday service in order to respect the copyright held by CSPS. We hope some day that we will be allowed to conduct these healing services again.
